The Shepherd is a new art gallery, performance space, and community center planned for the East Village neighborhood of Detroit — a residential area that has long been subject to population decline and urban blight.

Blu Dot Lexington is in the heart of Midtown East Design District. This light and airy 14,000 sf store features two showroom levels and a rooftop terrace.

Peterson Rich Office recently completed construction of a gallery dedicated to works on paper at Wesleyan University.

In Spring 2019, PRO won an invited competition to design a new art gallery building for the Wesleyan University Davison Arts Center—one of the most extensive collections of works on paper in North America.

In 2021, PRO worked with the Rubin Museum on the design of the Mandala Lab, and immersive cultural space on the third floor of the museum.

The Mandala Lab is an interactive space for social and emotional learning inspired by the Tibetan Buddhist mandala. The immersive cultural space invites visitors of all ages to smell, see, touch, and listen as they sense, interpret, and process their own emotions supporting the Rubin museum’s mission: to stimulate learning, promote understanding, and inspire personal connections to the ideas, cultures, and art of Himalayan regions.

PRO worked with Galerie Perrotin to design a flagship 25,000sf exhibition space on five floors in the historic Beckenstein Building.

PRO's P&T Knitwear bookstore features bold colors, an amphitheater, a children's section, and a podcast studio.

At a time when there are a record number of empty storefronts in Manhattan, P&T Knitwear is designed to be a place of dynamic activity and events, activating Orchard Street and the wider Lower East Side with a new type of space for learning, dialogue, and exchange of ideas.

Built on a rural site overlooking the Connecticut River, this studio was commissioned by an artist who paints large-scale, imagined landscape paintings. We wondered whether the building could also evoke landscape, and express the resonance between the work being produced inside the studio, and the surrounding context.

This two-story penthouse on top of a historic cast-iron building in Tribeca was originally completed in 2006 but has never been occupied. It contains 3800 interior square feet on two levels and 3400 square feet of exterior terrace.

This 4000sf townhouse, a private residence in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, revives a historic construction technique that is unique to this neighborhood in New York, but updates it with design features and details that reinterpret the townhouse typology.
